IRON WITH VERY SOFT IRON

Iron your cashmere sweater inside out and with a light iron , but never directly with the iron on the stitch : always use a cloth (possibly slightly damp) and lots of steam. Do not iron the ribbing of the collar, body and sleeves so that they retain their elasticity.

HAND WASHING

The hand washing is a possible alternative in accordance with the same indications that machine in the kneading minutes without the twist.

HOW DO YOU USE A CASHMERE COMB

Lay your garment on a flat surface. Work the Sweater Comb gently in one direction using short strokes. Bulky knits need only a light touch, while tighter knits can take a more aggressive combing. Remove the collected lint from the screen after each use. Never use a razor or scissors as you'll damage the fibres and make it worse.

STORAGE OF YOUR CASHMERE

If you're concerned about the possibility of moths, freeze your cashmere in a plastic bag for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight. Defrost and wrap it in acid-free tissue paper to preserve color and protect against damp and dust. Cedar is a natural moth repellent.

The most important thing is to keep moisture away, so please do not store your cashmere sweaters in a damp place. A well-sealed plastic storage box is a good option. Make sure the box is dry before you packing your sweaters away.

A good idea is to add solid cedar pieces you can find many options (cedar sachets, cubes, hang-up boards and hanger rings). Cedar pieces are extremely effective in keeping your closet moth-free.
